Lessons

At Painted Pastures Equine Centre we offer private western riding lessons. Lessons begin at the age of 4 up to adult and run year round. As we are an outside facility we reschedule lessons if the weather is not ideal ie: High winds, extreme cold or heavy rain. Lessons are 1 hour long & include learning to groom, tack up, catch and ride the horse. Not all lessons will be exclusively riding, as we believe students should know how to care for the horse, basic safety, ground work & more. We have an excellent herd of horses that are great teachers!

Lesson cost: $30 (1 hour) when paying for 1 month at a time (4 lessons, total $120)

Packages available: SINGLE rider 10 lessons or TWO riders 6 lessons for $250

Pony rides available for ages 3 & under - $20 for a half hour

All students are required to have a riding helmet and boots.
